Denmark, the first country in Europe to gradually start reopening, reported no coronavirus-related deaths on Friday from the day earlier for the first time since March 13. Denmark’s total number of confirmed cases rose by 78 to 10,791 since Thursday, with the number of hospitalisations falling by 10 to 137. The death toll remained unchanged at 537.

China on Friday issued a statement calling on all UN member states to “actively fulfil their financial obligations to the United Nations,” stressing that the US owes the organization more than $2 billion. Mexican journalist Jorge Armenta was killed Saturday in Ciudad Obregon in the country’s north, making him the third journalist slain in Mexico so far this year, authorities said.
